Before

Dear Mr. Bowman,

I would like to thank you for helping make dreams come true. Over the last couple of years, I've saved our Jr. High Cheese & Sausage profits in order to purchase over $12,700 worth of Wenger instrument storage bins for my Jr. High band.

It just so happened that in order to do that, I had to build an outdoor 24'x24' shed so that the room behind my classroom could be emptied (it held all the athletic equipment for football, wrestling mats, and tons of old junk!). The athletic dept. benefited - all donated labor and my Music Boosters buying all the building materials, again w/ funds I'd saved, and a few nice donations from the athletic boosters and a grant. This new shed holds all of their equipment now, and makes a better presence for our teams- (Phase I, which was built starting in July 2004, finished in Sept.)

Then, the emptied room needed some major remodeling! Once again, donated labor from wonderful parents and students got the job done. Materials again were purchased w/ my JH profits... (Phase II, worked on from Oct. - Jan. '05).

Lastly, with very strong and helpful 8th graders and more free parent labor, the storage bins (purchased in Oct.) were installed in the new room! (Phase III, finished Jan. 26, 2005). Students moved into them on Jan. 25, 2005. They are wonderful! The students are so happy to have this improved storage! And amazingly enough, the entire Jr. High band and my 5th and 6th grade band fit into them.

So, Thanks to the great program of Century Resources and the amount of profit my students are able to generate, we can really see results. We look forward to future endeavors, but for now, we can sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Sincerely,
Dana M. Willman,
Seneca East Jr. High
